Who We Are

Pragmos Consulting is of a team of specialists in various areas of business practice who all adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. The principal members of the firm manage projects in collaboration with other experienced professionals.

Stephen van Beek

Stephen was a Certified Management Consultant for many years. He served two years during a time of significant transition as the Chair of the GTA Chapter of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.

Toronto's first professional coach, Stephen also worked as a facilitator and business strategist for over 25 years.

He decided in 2001 to devote the majority of his energy to his professional practice as a psychotherapist.

He now divides his time between his work as a psychodynamically-oriented psychotherapist, and the further development of the rapidly growing Toronto Therapy Network, the reference point for self-referral to well-qualified professional psychotherapists in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and the development of projects related to wellness in the workplace.

The continuing success of the Toronto Therapy Network has, among things, led to a strategic alliance with Wellergize and the creation of an innovative fresh approach to the provision of effective Employee Assistance Programs and Services that are affordable for any size of business. Grahame Beakhust

Organizational Consultant

Grahame is an organizational management consultant with extensive experience in organizational and external politics. He has worked at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. His community-based model for business organizations recognizes the realities of power and influence. As a coach, he has assisted many managers in the practicalities of their work. An interesting sideline for Grahame is gardening, and his series The Guerilla Gardener receives extensive television exposure on the Discovery Channel.

Michael J. Blugerman

Management Consultant

Michael has been involved in consulting for twenty years. He is a veteran in dealing with difficult people in tricky situations. He enjoys resolving an impasse with people who care deeply about the outcome. Michael has worked with clients to build effective teams and to provide executive coaching and personal performance enhancement.

Michael is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and has completed the Essentials of Consulting training program.
